Description

The 4040XP is LCN’s most durable and flexible heavy duty closer designed for institutional and other demanding high traffic applications. Featuring a cast iron body, forged steel arm, double heat treated steel pinion, and all weather fluid. The non-sized cylinder is adjustable for interior doors to 5’0″ and exterior doors to 4″0″. Closers meet ADA requirements, are UL and cUL listed for self-closing doors without hold open and are tested and certified under ANSI Standard A156.4, Grade 1.

• This closer is ideal for high traffic or doors that are used for heavy duty usage. For example, the 4040XP is used in hospitals, office buildings, store fronts, schools etc…
• The 4041 was replaced with the 4040XP as a more heavy duty closer.
• It doesnt matter if the door is right hand or left hand, it is reversible so it will work on either handing.
• This does not come with a Parallel Arm Bracket. For an extra few dollars you can get the 4040XP-RW/PA with the RW/PA Bracket.
• A leading 30 year warranty.
• Adjustable spring size 1-6.
• Can be used with all 4040 Accessories.
